BATHM Academic Office

What the first weeks of hotel diploma and CTEVT practice actually feel like at BATHM.

Most new students arrive knowing they like hotels, food, or travel, and not much else. The first weeks are deliberately practical. You learn how a shift starts, how a station is set, and how to speak to a guest without rushing.

Diploma students move between food and beverage, housekeeping awareness, and simple cost control. CTEVT students stay closer to one trade: cooking, service, rooms, bar, or coffee.

If you are choosing between those routes, visit the college on a class day. Watching a practical hour is more useful than reading a brochure.
